|Davy Fields ’00 returned to campus on January 25, 2012, as part of our
50th Anniversary Alumni Speaker Series Program. This program was
specially created last year to commemorate the school’s 50th anniversary
and to highlight the school's many talented alumni/ae and showcase what
they are doing in their personal and professional lives to make a
positive impact on their communities.|
|Kevin Gemmell '91 surprised us by stopping by the campus in November! He's working for ESPN.com as a College Football Blogger and was in town for the Stanford-Oregon game. || Harry V. McKay, Jr., Head of School, and Roger Adams, P.E. teacher, spotted Chris Koehler ’87 waiting in line to see Shuffle, the new film by Kurt Kuenne ’87, at Cinequest 2012 in early March. Shuffle, featuring TJ Thyne of Bones fame, is about a man trying to determine why he suddenly begins experiencing his life out of sequence. Kurt wrote, directed and composed the music for Shuffle, which is currently being shown to sold-out audiences at film festivals around the country. While the official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held this spring,
that has not stopped the school from utilizing its newly created 50th
Anniversary Outdoor Classroom! Positioned under the historic oak tree,
the classroom includes a new outdoor amphitheater, six ceramic-topped
tables embedded with garden themed mosaics created by the students, and a
lush garden of California native plants.
