State of the School Address

All parents are encouraged to join Head of School Erik Carlson and our Board of Trustees as they share the 2017 State of the School TOMORROW, Thursday, January 12th at 6:30PM in THE CENTER (location change). Prior to the address, the Board of Trustees invites you to a reception in the Pre-K classroom beginning at 5:30PM.  The reception will introduce interested members of the community to the work and membership of the Board.

Students Recognized for Achievement in Math

Last fall, more than 130,000 students from more than 2,000 schools, including our entire Middle School, put their problem-solving skills to the test, literally, by taking part in the annual Mathematical Association of America’s American Mathematics Competitions 8 (AMC 8). Share what you love about Saint Andrew's with your friends, neighbors and co-workers.  In addition to your own experiences, you can share posts from the school blog, news items from the website, and posts from our Facebook page to help demonstrate what our community is all about.  You can also invite people to attend our upcoming Admissions Open House on Saturday, January 21st at 10:00AM.

Wired to Create: Lessons in Unlocking Ingenuity

The first Common Ground Speaker of 2017 will be Scott Barry Kaufman, PhD.  Dr. Barry is a research psychologist and author of Wired to Create and Ungifted. Dr. Kaufman’s work combines neuroscience and psychology to explain what creativity is and to show, scientifically, how people can unlock and develop their creative talents.
