In-Service Day Friday, February 26th

The faculty will be off campus attending the National Association of Independent Schools annual conference this coming Friday.  If your child will require care that day, they need to be registered TODAY.  Care will be available for $4.25 per half hour.  Students should bring a lunch with them.

Spring Athletics

Students grade 5-8 are invited to come out for Boys Volleyball, Girls Softball and Track.  The deadline to register for Spring Athletics is Tuesday, March 1st.

Time to Re-enroll for 2016-2017

February is re-enrollment month.  If you've not already done so, take a moment to submit your re-enrollment contract today.  The re-enrollment contract and deposit* for 2016-2017 are due by Monday, February 29th to secure your family's place at Saint Andrew's.  *PLEASE NOTE: the deposit is a required component of the re-enrollment process.  Please log in to/contact SmartTuition to complete your re-enrollment ASAP.

Upcoming Imagine Tour

Father Channing Smith will be leading a property tour for the capital campaign "Imagine the Possibilities" on Thursday, February 25th from 10 to 11:30 am. Would you like to come on a friendly tour, see the historic property and learn more about local history? We look forward to seeing you! If you would like to experience the beauty and tranquility of the three acre oak woodland, please check in at the church office by 10 am. Thank you!

Thursday Night is Movie Night!

With NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, both the Lower School Student Council and Middle School Student Council are hosting Movie Night events this coming Thursday, February 25th from 6:30-8:30PM.
Lower School will be showing Minions (read the CommonSense Media Review) in The Center.  Cost is $2 to attend.  Students should eat dinner PRIOR to attending Movie Night.  Please complete the permission slip and return with payment to the office by Thursday morning.
The Middle School Student is finalizing the movie selection today and will distribute the permission slip tomorrow.  The Middle School movie will be shown in The Hall.  

The PAB invites you to the March Meeting

The Parents' Association Board invites all parents to attend the next meeting on Wednesday, March 2, at 8:30 am in the Center. Mr. Chris Scott, Director of After School Programs/Athletic Director, will be the guest presenter.  He will share more about his role and the direction of after school sports and activities at Saint Andrew’s.

Travel Size Toiletries Drive

The spring service learning project for fourth grade will be putting together hygiene kits for Sacred Heart Community Services. Can you donate a few items to help them?  There is no need to go shopping, but please gather up any shampoos, conditioners, soaps, and lotions from your hotel stays or small toothpastes and toothbrushes from your dentist. Fourth grade will begin collecting the items the first week of March.  Thank you!

A team of students took time during the winter break to represent Saint Andrew's in the annual MATHCOUNTS! competition held at San Jose State University. MATHCOUNTS! is a national middle school competitive program that promotes mathematics achievement through a series of fun and engaging "bee" style contests.

Have you seen The Wishing Tree?

The Spring Social Planning Committee has planted a Wishing Tree
 in the school office. The tree is budding with auction donation ideas for this year's Spring Social.  The Committee is currently accepting gifts of:
  • Wine
  • Sporting Event Tickets and Concert Tickets
  • Games and toys (LEGOs, board games, etc.)
  • Restaurant gift cards
  • Sports memorabilia
  • Amusement Park tickets
  • Hotel stays / vacation getaways
Any other ideas are welcome!  We appreciate any help to make this a wonderful Spring Social!
