Composing the Saint Andrew's Community
Welcome back from your February Break. It is great to be rested as March is always an exciting month in schools. It is the time when we devote much energy to composing our learning community for the 2017-2018 school year. We ask that you re-enroll so that we know how many spaces we can offer out to our eager applicant pool to fill our classes. I have had a chance to meet personally with many students and families seeking to join our community. They are not only attracted to our mission and program, but they also are excited to join and contribute to our community.

This is also the season to build our faculty and staff. As I reported to you earlier, David Pardue is returning to his Technology position, where he will team with Tiffany Liu and Peter Estacio. I am pleased to share that we have hired Tyler Auer, a veteran math teacher currently at Fay School just outside of Boston and presenter at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, to teach Middle School Math and serve as our K-8 Math Specialist. This hybrid position will allow Mr. Auer to support mathematics instruction and learning in the Lower School and align the program throughout the grades to meet high standards.
