Geoffrey Andrew Ladd Discovery Award Presented Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning at chapel, the school will present The Geoffrey Andrew Ladd Discovery Award. It is an honorary award, established in 1996 in memory of Geoffrey Andrew Ladd, who attended the school between 1987 and 1995 (preschool through sixth grade). The award, given annually to a sixth or seventh grade student who exemplifies the qualities that one associated with Geoffrey; compassion, venturesome curiosity and passion for discovery.

invites you to hear Harvard psychiatrist and best-selling author John Ratey, M.D. discuss the concept of peak performance with research that shows how exercise sparks the growth of new brain cells and leads to greater physical and mental well-being. Learn how to put the brain-fitness connection to use to reduce feelings of stress, sharpen focus and improve mood.
We will host a follow-up conversation here on campus with Athletic Director Chris Scott on March 22 at 1:45PM.
Author Cynthia Lord to Visit in April
We are very excited to announce that the talented children’s
will visit Saint Andrew's on Friday, April 8th as part of our annual Author's Day Program. Students from Kindergarten to 5th grade* will be part of a special reading followed by book signings and conversations with the author. Cynthia’s debut novel
is a Newberry Honor book and winner of the Schneider Family Book Award. She is also the author of the popular Hot Rod Hamster and Shelter
Pet series of books.
Flyers for students to pre-order Ms. Lords' books will be sent out this week. Books are being supplied by Hicklebees for our special event. Questions can be directed to our school librarian

Perform! Share! Inspire!
Our annual Saint Andrew's Variety Show is coming up on Friday, April 22nd at 6pm! A fun, annual tradition when students perform, share and inspire! Students are invited to create a 2 minute act, either as an individual or a group.
