Volume 55, Issue 1
September 2, 2015
It is time once again for Back To School Night; that exciting evening where you get to peek into the daily lives of your children! Back to School Night is a great opportunity for each teacher to both share his or her well-planned curriculum and strengthen the ties with your family. Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School prides itself on a strong school:home partnership. Family involvement plays a key role in helping students succeed in school and in building a sense of pride in the school community. Our faculty and staff are here to help build strong partnerships among home, school, and the community.
Back to School Night is one of the best ways to begin to build a foundational home school partnership. Come and visit your student’s classrooms, meet their teachers, find out valuable information about course curriculum and classroom specific topics, and get to know your student's schedule and routine.

Pets on Campus Policy
We at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School love pets; however, some persons are afraid of animals and others are allergic to them. Due to the potential for our community members, especially our children, to be hurt or suffer allergic reactions from pets, we request that no animals, with the exemption of service animals, are to be brought onto campus from 7:00AM to 6:00PM on school days. An exception to this would be for the purposes of advancing the academic curriculum, e.g. in science class. This would necessitate the pre-approval of the classroom teacher and administration.
