Demystifying the Eucharist
Eucharist, also called Communion, the Lord's Supper, and other names, is a sacrament accepted by almost all Christians.
At Saint Andrew's Episcopal School, Eucharist is celebrated on the first Thursday of each month. On Tuesday, September 29th, School Chaplain Father Cameron Ayers will discuss how Eucharist is commemorated at the school, how students participate and how parents can be involved. Join us at 8:45AM in The Chapel for this informative conversation.
Student Activity Fee
You'll notice that this month's statement from Smart Tuition includes a
"Student Activity Fee."
In other schools this is sometimes called the Party Fee. It is the sum that the Head Room Parents have determined is needed to coordinate class activities such as parties, an end of year Teacher Gift from the class, assistance underwriting a donation to the Spring Social, etc. The school facilitates the transaction as a convenience so no parent has to collect money. Any questions about the fee can be directed to your Head Room Parent.
