Harvest Festival is this Friday!
Halloween is a wonderful and special tradition at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School. Our purpose on Halloween is to help children share their costumes, learn customs and enjoy the spirit of this time of year.
The students and staff will be coming to school in costume on
Friday, October 28th.
Monday, October 31st will be a regular school day with regular uniform dress.)
It can be a lot of fun for children, as they love to dress up and make believe. However, it can sometimes be frightening for a child to see familiar people dressed so differently.

Admissions Open House Saturday, November 5th
More than 80% of our applicants each year come to us because parents like you invite them to become part of our community. Our Fall Admissions Open House will take place on Saturday, November 5th from noon to 2:00PM. This is a great opportunity for not-yet-enrolled families to visit classrooms, talk to teachers, and learn more about the school and its balanced approach to elementary and middle school education. Be sure to share the
attached Open House flyer
with any friends, neighbors (potential carpool buddies), and colleagues who are investigating educational options for next year.
Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church invites you to attend An All Saints Day "Service of Commemoration" featuring the
by John Rutter this Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 5:00PM.
This radiant requiem was written in 1985 in memory of the composer's father. What was conceived as a personal memorial has gone on to become one of John Rutter's internationally most often-performed choral works, both in church and concert hall. Unlike the dramatic, large-scale Requiems of Berlioz and Verdi, Rutter's setting belongs in the smaller-scale, more devotional tradition of Fauré and Duruflé. The choral forces do not need to be large, there is only one soloist, the instrumentation is restrained, the duration less than 40 minutes.
We'll bring the coffee
Many families were introduced to our wonderful Saint Andrew's community through a small dessert hour at a neighbor's home -- maybe you were one of them. They are fun and informative. These intimate events are for prospective parents to get together with current families to learn more about our community and your experiences at the school. Would you like to help interested families learn more about the school you love? If you are willing to host a dessert hour at your home some time in December or January, please contact
in the Admission Office.
