Coffee with Mr. Burgess and Mrs. Trevor - TOMORROW
We are very much hoping you are able to join Mr. Burgess and Mrs. Trevor, tomorrow, Thursday, at 2:00PM in the Center. We will be introducing our Learning Specialist, Mrs. Paula Ramos and explaining her role in our school with regards to how she supports students, teachers and parents. We will also take this opportunity to share with parents how we keep our campus safe. Mr. Marsh will be sharing our emergency protocols and drills, along with explaining our Incident Command System. Our School Resource Officer, Deputy Sheriff Chad Garton, ​will also be our guest.

The School App is LIVE!!
The Saint Andrew's Episcopal School App is ​finally HERE! You can download the Saint Andrew's Episcopal School app ​on both iPhone and Android devices.  
 
The app includes fast access to campus news, the school directory, our Facebook page, the event calendar, links to My Green Lunch, iVolunteer, SchoolLoop and more!  Friday Reminders and The Leaflet will appear under the Bulletins tab for easy future access.
 
The school directory will now be accessible at your fingertips!  The directory is secure.  To access the directory, you first need to confirm your identity.  Click Directory - Request My Password - Enter the email address you have registered with the school - Check Your Email for your confirmation.

Harvest Festival is This Friday
The Harvest Festival will include the following highlights:
  • We are having Buddy Lunch at Noon on this day. It is important that students provide a bagged lunch or preorder lunch through My Green Lunch as they do on a regular school day.
  • Afternoon of fun on Crestbrook Field will include over 20 carnival games, pumpkin walk, dunk tank, magician, juggler, Thriller performance by grade 4, and tug-of-war with the LS and MS staff against the 8th graders to wrap things up! Students will have the opportunity to win many wonderful prizes (bags will be provided for the students to take their loot home)!

Admissions Event November 14th
The Admissions Office has been hosting campus tours for families interested in learning more about the school all throughout October.  Families are excited to explore our comprehensive whole child approach and the special community of which you're a part!  We need your help to find more great families and students like yours to be part of our school beginning next fall.  Our first campus-wide Admission Program of the year will be Saturday, November 14th beginning at 1:00PM.  Please use the attached flyer to invite a friend, neighbor, family member or colleague to learn more about Saint Andrew's by attending a school day tour or our all campus program.    
Register for Parent-Teacher Conference Childcare
The After School Care team will be offering childcare next Thursday and Friday during the Parent-Teacher Conferences.  They can stay all day or just for the time of your conferences (students cannot be left unaccompanied on campus) - pre-registration by Monday, November 2nd is required.

One More Leaf
Every day another leaf is added to the giving tree, representing all the families who support our school with a gift to the Annual Fund. Lower school parents, Melody Fallah-Khair and Farzin Rasteh, share that "We give because we want the school to have the financial means to maintain its high quality academics and be able to offer both traditional and non-conventional learning tools and methods. We are more than happy to contribute."  Make A Gift Today  We currently have 36% participation. Please join in to achieve 100% participation.

Join us for the next PAB Meeting
The next PAB meeting is Wednesday, November 4, from 8:30 to 10:00 am in The Center. The meeting will begin with a Teacher Showcase featuring the Spanish Program. Parents are invited to see demonstrations given by our Spanish teachers and students.  
Free Dress Monday, November 9th
Lower School students do not need to wear the school uniform on Monday, November 9th.  It's a Free Dress Day for Lower School students.

Saint Andrew's Sunday
November 15th, 10AM
Besides our school and church, Saint Andrew is also the patron saint of Scotland. Come celebrate our patron saint with a Scottish-themed service replete with bagpipes and shortbread for coffee hour!
