Seventh Grade Science Overview

Seventh grade science focuses on Chemistry and Physics.
The course begins with a brief look at marine life (to prepare students for the Monterey Bay trip), then moves into introductory material on chemistry. The end of the year will focus on conceptual Physics (Newtonian Law). The course will emphasize the content that is most relative to promotion into high school level science.

Students should come to class prepared to participate in discussions and activities. All students should bring the necessary tools with them to each class. All projects will be graded for accuracy and neatness. All work should be completed on time, as this will affect the overall learning experience if work is not done as requested.

Content assessment is compiled from homework, quizzes, exams, projects and labs.
